The 18-hole "Andover" course at the Andover Country Club facility in Andover, Massachusetts features 6,691 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 130 on Bent grass. Designed by W.H. Follett, the Andover golf course opened in 1926. Boyd Holk, CCM manages the course as the General Manager.

Thanks to the MGA members day, I had the opportunity to play this Donald Ross gem. I've played this course a number of time in charity tournaments, and everytime I play it, the course shows improvements. Hole #14 the #2 handicap hole is a bear of a hole. It is very narrow with o.b., and you need to be Bubba, in order to reach the green in two. Also, if you play the course in the fall, the #11th hole is tough to reach if the wind is in your face. My one negative aspect with the course was the food & drinks were way overpriced.
