Good course to play.

I am from MD and have played numerous courses in the DC/VA/MD region. The farm course was beautifully designed - 16 of the 18 greens were in dynamite shape. Sloping greens, with tall trees scattered throughout the center of many fairways. Very friendly staff. I will come back.

I had one morning to play in Lafayette on a mini-vacation, and I am happy I picked this course from many others in the area. It had lots of character, great greens with readable breaks that roll true, lush and generous fairways, and fair but penal rough. Not your basic course, but it did not beat you up either (w/i 5 strokes of my regular score). It also had 5 sets of tees from which to choose. Lunch was great as well, but the food usually is in this area. The value compares to our RTJ Golf trail in Alabama. The staff was super friendly, and even gave me a yardage book since I was playing alone and did not know the course. We come to the area every year or two, and I WILL play it again!! I recommend it to any level golfer (I'm a 11). P.S. Don't use driver on 6!

The Farm

Fun to play. Lots of different tee boxes to accommodate all of us. Great practice area. Mark Dover (pro) does a good job.

Well-kept course

Pretty long course with well-maintained fairways and manicured slick greens. You save about $15 on a twilight tee time.
