Top 5 Public Golf Course in the Chicago-land Area! From the moment you get out of your car, you are greeted by a friendly, competent, and knowledgeable staff. You almost feel like your at a private club.

As for the course...Richard Nugent's Gem ~ Characterized by the opposing Nines; The front nine offers a meandering and hilly stroll through the woods of Woodridge. Great start to warm up your chops for the quick and true greens, only to get ready for the back nine. Back starts with 3 tough holes that all have crowned fairways and surrounding water (Dupage River and lakes) is everywhere. Tough, but with 4 tees to choose from, every level of golfer can enjoy the challenge. One of the best and well kept public golf courses in Illinois.

Tough but fair. A bit overpriced but most Chicago courses are. I have played here three times and found it to be in my top ten for Chicagoland. There are much better values in the area but you won't find a more interesting public course.

Great golf course in great condition. The back nine is difficult with all the water, but fun to play. I enjoyed how scenic the course was. After our round we had drinks at their outdoor resturant "The Dock". It has a very nice atmosphere and I can see myself returning just to eat dinner out there. Overall, it was a good experience.

good course. overpriced. the first time i went there, one of the workers tried steaing my donut. the 2nd time i went there, they went for my wallet. you cant trust anyone in chicago, including people banging sticks on empty buckets in the downtown area.

Stunning course in fantastic shape - very tricky back nine - a shot maker's course as it is important to be in the right spot for approach shots. Greens ran very true. Bunkers were a bit hard, but overall one of the nicer courses in the Western Suburbs.

I've played this course several times over the years. They have reversed the nines, so you play the wooded 9 as your front 9 and the target golf 9 as your back 9. The course was in very good shape this time out. It has been inconsistent in terms of its conditioning in the past. It has some unique holes but I just can't find myself wanting to play there unless I get an invite from others to do so. It is also very over priced at $105 for even a Saturday a.m. There is no practice range other than a net to hit into--very tacky. On a more positive note the outside patio is nice for cocktails. But for that steep coin, I'd rather enjoy other courses in the area--Prairie Landing, Cantigny, and for a little less there is Mistwood. In sum, 7 Bridges seems to lack the character and draw factors that would convince me to play there on a more regular basis. Stay thirsty my friends.

Seven bridges was a fun and challenging course. One of the best I have played in the Chicagoland area. It was a reasonable rate and the course was in great condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, they had a nice outdoor bar and grill to sit out at and get a few drinks after our round. Overall, it was a great experience I recommend.

Great course, hard as all get out

Back nine is very difficult. Windy conditions make it ridiclously tough for average golfer.
