We played the south course which was scraggly, patchy grass, potholes, un-raked greens with standing water in them. Service was fine, except for the Ranger. Pace of play was horrific. We waited on every shot, every hole. At first par three two groups were waiting ahead of us. We watched as the group on the tee each duffed three balls into the woods, then wandered off searching for them taking 25+ minutes to finish a par 3.

Rangers do absolutely nothing. They will not even admit that play is slow. At one point we'd played twelve holes in four hours. Ranger said, "That's not bad for a Saturday," and "You're a twosome, naturally you'll play faster than the group of four in front of you." Yeah, but a six hour round? Guy wouldn't even admit the pace was slow.

Course is filled with duffers who not only can't play worth a crap, but hit three balls off every tee, spend hours in the woods looking for balls and then five minutes lining up a 9 inch putt.

I have no problem with golfers who are beginners. Just remember, no one cares how badly you play, just do it fast. Hit your ball, find it again, hit it again. Do it quickly. A golf round is not supposed to take 6 hours.
