Friday was my retirement party with friends and decided to play the course. What a mistake! A drunken off duty ranger who identified himself as Bob forced himself into our threesome and as drunks do, became a loud mouth irritant. We had had enough of him by the 16th hole and walked off. He followed us and continued to irritate. When I went into the pro shop to lodge a complaint, the gentleman was of no help. Felt like I was dealing with Barney Fife. As I left again I had to deal with drunken Bob again who refused to leave me alone. Great retirement party Sanctuary golf course in New Lenox IL!! Thanks for ruining my day.

This is a tough course with narrow fairways and small greens, but well maintained. I don't play there because I am not too good and typically wind up in the other people's fairways.

Tough links style course with somewhat fast greens that are tough to hold and very small. Well protected by bunkers and very tight fairways. It forces you to play a controlled game bomb and gouge won't work here but if you can hit a long and controlled tee shot you may dominate here. The starters are nice as can be, decent clubhouse great prices the bartender she could be a little more pleasant. Great alternative to silver lake or green garden. Never overcrowded and it is a beautiful layout. A definite gem especially with all the overcrowded courses in the south suburbs.

great value
this is a really nice course that is very difficult, especially the back. The course is maintained exceptionally well and the greens are very nice+quick. They have a nice big grass driving range as well as a practice green with a big bunker to pitch around. overall a great value for $40 w/ cart and GPS
