The 18-hole "White/Woodlands" course at the Gleneagles Country Club facility in Lemont, Illinois features 6,120 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 68.7 and it has a slope rating of 116 on Bent grass. Designed by Charles Maddox/Frank P. MacDonald, the White/Woodlands golf course opened in 1926. Darcy Kling manages the course as the General Manager.

Should be a 3 star. Starters are friendly, straightforward track, decently maintained. But intolerable pace of play. We had a 12:22 tee time Saturday, started about 15 mins late, then left the course after just over 2 more hours on hole 6?!?

The course is ok, dry, no cart refreshments, no ball cleaners. The “Pro” is anything but professional dropping fbombs on clients, daring not to wear a mask in his kingdom. As I tried to explain to him i paid on line, he literally threw my receipt on the ground and said don’t touch me. What a complete and utter asshat. The starter apologized to me for his unprofessional behavior. The “Pro” should find a job isolated from clients.

Play this course weekly . Greens are kept up Fairways great
lots of leaves in fall. club house bar good price. This old style play like golf was ment to be.
