Callahan Golf Links, Waleska, GA

if you've ever watched a pro golf tournament on tv and wondered what it would be like to navigate those slick, undulating greens, Callahan will give you that opportunity. The greens are fantastic and challenging, making some of the pin placements "immoral" but will leave you with some stories to tell. The old house and rustic barns give you nice autumn views that are unique to the golf course. Great value for the $25 that is cost me to play. Hole #8 is one of my favorite par 3's of all time and I hate par 3's. Hole #5 is a beast par 4. Reach this green in two and earn a life long membership to the man club.

This is the best value in the North Atlant Metro Area. It is in unbelievable shape for a 2 1/2 year old course.

Great course, especially for the fees. Some holes require quite a bit of accuracy to make par. the greens are fantastic and true.

The course was fertilized on the 27th of April. It had it's last freeze, the week of April 20th. As of May 4th, the course was in excellent condition. Thanks Callahan's Golf Links for giving the golfer a great place to play for a fair price!

Delightfully unpretentious. Challenging from the blues and blacks, less so from whites and reds. One year old course gets a lot of play on the weekends; but is a dream during the week. Avoid first tee times, and late...around noon to one pm you can usually get off any weekday. Beverage cart, front & back side toilets, greens are extremely well maintained. Rough is rough, like it should be on a links course. Everyone who works there seems to enjoy being there, and is friendly. And the price can't be beat. Try it - you will not be sorry.

I play many courses in north Fulton and Forsyth counties..this course has some character for being so young, and the people involved seem very eager to please.
The back nine has some great changes in elevation and plenty of interesting features. For $30? Are you crazy?
They charge more than that at Bobby Jones and Chastain..talk about cow pastures...c'mon...ease up..take a drive up to Waleska..it's a pretty drive, gas is under $3/gallon (for now) and if we're going to be in a recession, let's play golf like we are!

hrga ....... really i would love for you to find a course thats as cheap as this one... and for in being poorly maintained your an idiot for saying that you proabally dont know what manual labor is anyway... i personally now what it takes to take care of a course and they are doing everything they can do for a young course..... i personally love the course and so does everyone else. who cares what you think ..we all know you play alone in everything you do

Newer course that has potential....but not unless the owners put some effort into the course. The signage around the course are cheap paper signs and no markers for any of the holes. No water or other amenities on the course and the restroom is a port-a-john in the middle of a wide open field. The scenery could be nice with some landscaping, but does not seem like the owner wants to invest. Could be nice, but for now is an overpriced cow pasture.
