The 18-hole "Hunter" course at the Hunter Golf Course facility in Savannah, Georgia features 6,518 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.1 and it has a slope rating of 120 on Bermuda grass. Designed by George W. Cobb, ASGCA, the Hunter golf course opened in 1967. Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command manages this facility, with Tommie McArthur as the General Manager/Director of Golf/Golf Professional.
