Just absolutely bad. I have been to this course about 3 times. Called ahead every single time, and they say the course is in good condition every time. Well it has never been in good condition, DO NOT go here.

A quaint little course that wanders around a lake and by a development. Straight shots are rewarded. There are a handful of forced carries over water and some strategic bunkering. Greens, fairways and bunkers were in decent shape, as were the electric carts. The golflogix g.p.s. units mounted to the carts were included at no extra charge (nice touch). The clubhouse was basic, but functional. This is a course that I'd consider being a member at if I lived in the area and the price was right.

For the price it's a good place to play. I'm a beginner, that has probably gone to other courses 20 times in my life, and this course was good it was challenging for my skill level, but not to difficult where I wanted to quit.

Their are 2 holes in which they are redoing the greens and have temp greens in it's place. It's pretty rough, but like people say you are going to get what you pay for.

As far as the staff, nothing much to say basically stayed out of our way and were nice.

I would say this course would be good for beginners who want a little more challenge.

This is one of the worst run golf courses in orlando the staff is terrible. Also the course is in not so great shape.

The Pope would curse on this course and leave saying what a blessed value. Very challenging, premium on club selection and course management. With the newer ownership it appears this course is on the upswing in terms of maintenance. There is nothing to sneeze at the way it is; an extremely challenging course that's priced so you can come back and correct your sins. Looking forward to playing this course again.

First putting this course in perspective with a fee of $25.00 during the week and $30.00 on weekends is a great value in the Orlando area.
The course plays approximately 6300 yards from the whites and 6800 from the blues. There is water near on just about every hole but only a few of them are direct problems. The fairways are narrow and there will be a few holes that you will want to keep your driver in the bag. The par 3's are challenging as they are strategically protected by bunkers as you approach. The greens were medium sized and generally in good condition and fast.

Playing the course the first time you might want to make sure you have your yardages, which are defined by the red marker @100 yds, white markers @150 yds and the blue markers @200 yds, plus sprinkler heads are generally marked which I found to be very useful.

The club house staff was exceptional. We came to play on a very busy day but yet I noticed a friendly demeanor and a welcoming feeling as we came in. The club house has just finished a renovation and was in good condition but not over sized. The snack bar had the usual fare of hot dogs and burgers, chips, sodas, etc which was slightly understaffed and backed up when we went in at the turn.

I would highly recommend this course for many reasons, one value alone can't be beat and the challenge of the narrower fairways gives you something a little different from most of the other courses in the area. Lake Orlando Golf Course will be a fun venture onto the links, give it a try.

Just like everyone else said...very challenging, but fun. Espically if you play from the blues...every hole is physically and mentally challenging. At the end of the was fun! The back nine greens & fairways were much nicer than the front 9. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON RANGE BALLS..biggest waste of $7.00....balls are water loged, heavy and OLD

Course was very well maintained, played very tight and did not leave much for luck at all. Shots had to be well placed and very controlled

Reviewed December 31, 2007

Average course, but with many challanges. Great value and convenient location. Has a lot of water to navigate. Greens are well maintained and play fast.

Reviewed November 26, 2007

very tight course, fairways thin, greens were over seeded and hairy, friendly staff
