I have played this course in the past and was felt very welcome, always had a good time for the value. This time we played we was greeted with a smile in the resturant and pro shop had a wonderful round of golf.course in good shape and very nice servers in the bar. We was approached by a gentle man who introduced himself as Paul after small talk her came across as a arrogant person with comments that were not necessary. While myself and.friends were having a beer Paul talked to employees in the bar area inappropriate and loud enough for all to hear.this put a damper on a good day but needless to say we will not return anytime soon. If this club had any ownership it would distace its self from this man as manager as fast as possible. All in all the course itself was a challenge and in good shape. But sorry to say we won't be back.

First let me say that the course itself is pristine. For the money it is one of the most beautiful, well maintained and challenging courses that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, that is where the praise ends. We tee'd off at 10:35 am (a twosome) and we had a foursome tee off in front of us... from the blues. An excruciating 2 hrs 15 mins later we finished 1597 yds on the first nine holes. Our lethargic foursome (in front of us)continued on to the tenth hole. As we pulled up to the clubhouse we found both of the course rangers sitting under a shade tree in their carts. I hated to bother them (they looked so comfortable) but I went up and explained the situation to them and asked if they could possibly talk to the foursome and explain the course rule of allowing faster players to play through, - I got a shrug and a grunt from one of the rangers. So we decided to just go into the club house and get a drink and cool off, we sat and cooled off and drank our gatorades and gave it 20 mins. for them to get way ahead of us - as we pulled up to the 10th tee, a 247 yd. par 4, our same foursome was just walking onto the green to putt. we finally finished at 3:00 pm. And, by the way, one of the rangers finaly rode by on the 18th hole- the other one was still under the shade tree when we got back to the clubhouse. I can't speak for all of the golfers that were backed up behind us, but as for the two of us, we'll go back to playing Magnolia valley where the rangers actually do their jobs! And you can play a game of golf, instead of having a miserable experience. O.K I'm done venting now!

At just over 4000 yards for 18, this course is short. It can be challenging. The biggest problem is the number of golfers on this course. At one point, there were 5 foursomes on the same hole. It took 2.5 hours to play the front nine which is under 2000 yards. We won't be back.
