You get the impression this is a cheap course to play (at least I did) but when you paid for rangeballs, course guide it is no longer a bargain!
The course is not that well maintained. But I liked a lot of the tee shots, narrow and long. Par3's are looong, average 190 from blue tee's.

Played Hibiscus on a rainy Friday just a couple of weeks after Hurricane Irma ripped through the region. The course was beat up bad, but playable. They reportedly lost 100s of trees. The course gets a pass for maintenance on this day. The fact that is was even open at all gets an A+.

Anyway, the layout is fine and the price is right. The greens were slow, but in good shape. For the price, this is a recommended play.

We played this course twice during the week of Dec.1 2013 and the greens were great. Course layout was fun to play and beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful, just a great value.

My wife and I played this course on October 23, 2011. It is in immaculate shape, and the greens are unbelieveable. The staff is very friendly. A true bargain, especially with lunch!!

I played this course a number of times in early 2010 and it was in great shape. It is not really difficult but it was a great outing and everyone enjoyed it. Based on some of the other reviews I would say the maintenance folks are doing a much better job now than in the past.

Played this course Feb/2008 and it was in horrible condition!

Reviewed October 09, 2008

Course is in terrible condition. Greens were more like bunker as they ALL had huge patches of sand everywhere. Real dog track. I would not recommend anyone going to this course on any condition. The $30 dollar rate is too expensive for the condition of this course. Really disappointing...nice club house though.

Reviewed November 20, 2007

Well, this is nice! $70-$80 price range for a course you'd pay $15 for in Maine in-season. Stratospheric rates are evidently being used to pay for a new clubhouse.Huge, sucker crowds. Few holes have any real playing value. Bagboys are as sweet as apple pie until you "bag"them with no tips whatever.Buzzards will not stay where there is no prey. Stay away and play "Tiger" on home video!

More than 12 of the green are in very poor shape. Not worth the Dollars. Attendents need to learn CUSTOMER SERVICE.......... Great Club House, Poor course. One Four Drinking Water facilities available, including the club house on the turn.

Overall average course. GREAT new clubhouse. Sitting on the porch drinking a beer after a round is great!

watch it now, watch it.

Standard Fla. municipal, with no really memorable holes. always crowded and attendants are highly aggressive.
