Course was in fantasivc shape. The greens were awesome. Tee boxes were flat. Bunker sand was consistent. Fairways were a little ont the firm and dry side, but green.
The pro shop does not sell yardage books, which I thought was strange. 150 yard target markers in each fariwat yo help you aim off the tee box.
Unbeliveable value on a holiday weekend morning for $54. This course would cost you at least $80 in Myrtle beach.

Never informed us that they were re-seeding the greens when I called to reserve a tee time. Course lacks yardage markers, you waste a lot of time trying to figure out the yardage. None of the holes are marked for which one you are playing. The fairways were in great shape. Course was tough but fair. The members are rude and mean. If you golf there ask the starter if the people behind you are members? We were a foursome with two carts and members own their own carts so a four some would play with four carts. So before you know it they are hitting into you. We played the course in 3 and a half hours and we let a four some play thru. They informed us to play faster. These are the type of people that play on a public course and hold everyone up.

Beautiful course. Nice greens. Fun to play. Definitely a top 5 area course. Beware of the @$!*% ranger.

I am a 5-handicapper who lives in south Fort Pierce.

- secluded & never crowded
- fabulous maintenance
- great greens
- scenic
- a perfect getaway for a golfing outing

- VERY inconvenient (not close to anything except the Interstate)
- not the most affordable course in the County
- not friendly
- not for junior golfers, in my opinion
- not "popular", so to speak..

Bottom Line:
A golf course that is designed for those who golf best in private settings. Many types of golfers (from the most avid to the middle-school types) can enjoy 18 holes of Panther Woods golf.

I live in Florida and recently played this course several times, since they open it up for public play during the summer months. I have to say this course is in wonderful condition. It is a bit of throw back course since it has wide fairways, marginal sand traps and large greens. It also has several sets of tees with the longest being about 7000 yards. Although it is tucked away in a private commity in the middle of orange groves, it is still easy to find and only about five minutes from the highway. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a throughly enjoyable place to play golf. A hidden jewel.

Nice Course

Played this course twice in late September. Once with real good golfers from the blue tees and once with my brother from the white tees. Had a great time and actually had the course almost to ourselves the second time. The staff was nice and the restaurant reasonable and nice. A real nice time
