The 9-hole "Golfview" course at the Golfview Golf & Racquet Club facility in Fort Myers, Florida features 1,400 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27. Designed by Gordon G. Lewis, the Golfview golf course opened in 1987. Dennis Catoe manages the course as the General Manager.

WHEN DID YOU PLAY HERE DOUGSMITH?

COURSE RENOVATED IN SUMMER OF 2005. I FIND THE COURSE SHORT BUT SWEET! BIGGER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER. tift eagle greens stemp at 10 feet. very undlating and very difficult pin positions. golf pros and lower handicap golfers find it a great course to sharpen up their iron play. Great course for family play or golf novice. $10.00 green fee in the summer is very affordable. very quit atmosphere in the summer. No problem playing in the peak season either. no tee times required in the off season. Players are freindly and new staff arrived in fall of 2005. I give it 5 stars.

Why such a fuss?

While I had heard many great things about this course, I found myself treated dismissively and disdainfully by both staff and players ... I would not recommend htis to anybody ... it it anathema to good golfing experience
