Blue Fox Run Golf Course , Avon, CT

I have not played this course in many years. Wow!Has this course gone down hill. Initially,we got a cart that was dirty (not cleaned or hosed down and the windshield has a large chunk out of it). Lots of crab grass all over the course. It is poorly maintained and groomed.Cart paths were worn to the point of not riding on them and bridges were rickety. Waaste areas wer not cut so it is just wild over growth. Greens were spotty as to their condition, some better than others.
All in all this course is a mess for the area it is in. Owners are pocketing a lot of players money by not putting money into the course.

I had played this course several times about 6 years ago. I recently played 18 holes (white to blue) and it was a complete waste of $59.oo (cart & greens fees). Other than the greens the course was is not maintained. They have weed growth on the fairway's and outside the clubhouse, all the water holes had smell of sewage due to lack of maintaince, the bunkers weren't either racked or had tree debris everywhere. All in all for the price they charge they should compete with the Gillette Ridge's and Manchester CC of the world's but they which make this course look like a cheap muni.
