Sky Course Golf Course Description

The 18-hole "Sky Course" at the Lost Canyons Golf Club facility in Simi Valley, California features 7,250 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 76.1 and it has a slope rating of 149 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Pete Dye, ASGCA/Fred Couples, the Sky Course opened in 2000. Landmark Land Company Inc manages this facility, with Jay Colliatie, PGA as the General Manager.

Will not go back. Pro shop has nothing, no starters on the course took well over 5 hours. Saw a six-some and a five-some while waiting forever. Greens did roll well if you could find a line that wasn't full of ball marks.

Should have stayed lost. Very bad customer service in the golf shop. I could get better service at post office or DMV for free. did I mention the course sucks.

I played for a discounted rate on a weekday so this is based off that rate:
This course plays similar to Tierra Rejada but is slightly shorter and narrower. Overall I would rather play here for a good price. It is challenging, it is recommended you play from the whites if you are a 10Hcp or over. Will make a massive diff. The silver tees are for 9 and under HDCP. The Golds are for scratch golfer, and the blacks (tips) are reserved for Fred Couples and I don't think he plays from there anymore.
I can imagine this course is unplayable in the high winds. However today, No wind, no people, no problems. Today was a good day! Pay for the 2$ GPS, worth it!
The sister course "Shadow" is more of the players course. Sky is easier of the two but they are both hard. Thumbs up for the price.
