Recently just played here after hearing about "renovations". I'll list the pros first since there are very few. There are wide open fairways, which is good for beginners or learning. There is a PGA professional aboard. And lastly is near The DFW airport which was great because I had to pickup friends and I go straight there. CONS: (get ready). Amenities are horrible. Lack of a store, food choices, everything. Basically the club house has lots of seating, cash register, and a few polos and balls to buy. Don't hit at the driving range in the morning! It's facing east and you will basically not see your ball about 150yd out. Maintenance of the course is really bad. Flooding, construction, cart pathways, tee boxes, and the greens. I have played on a lot more well maintained municipal courses then this. 0-10 I give this place a 2-3. Find better quality golf courses then this place. It is a shame because this place would be solid but it seems no maintenance is in place. Only should be a last resort. Go and find better courses like Luna Vista, Prairie Lakes, Stevens Park, and Tenison.
