Willowick is absolutely an awesome course with greens and fairways always in great shape. The price is a giveaway in comparison to other courses ive been to that charge alot more and offer much less, like Skylinks in Long Beach. Willowick is absolutely perfect for beginners and those that have played for a while. I dont understand the logic of other people stating its in a "terrible" neighborhood, and they fear their clubs will get stolen. Go leave your clubs unattended at any other "nice neighborhood" golf course and see what happens. Be smart and truthful when writing reviews people. Willowick is a great course, a great value, in a typical neighborhood.

Willowick is a great course, staff are friendly, the greens are in great shape, fairways are like carpet and all for a low price. I don't know what these guys are saying about the area, my buddy and play there once a week and the surrounding area is just like any other golf coures. If your stupid enough to leave your golf clubs out you deserve for them to be stolen.Go and play around at willowick you will go back.

While this is not the most attractive or safest, (for various reasons,) golf course out there, it is still a fair value for what you get. Tends to be busy with people of varying courtesy. Watch for errant golf balls too due to the holes being saddled next to each other for all 18 holes. Also the course layout can be confusing for people not accustomed to its layout.

I really like this course, wide fairways, easy to walk, not too expensive. I'm a decent beginning golfer, shot a 99 here. It's very green, the fairways are like carpet, and a good mix of holes.

Wide fairways, very good maintenance, and not that difficult. Just keep an ear out for the "Fores". The holes run parallel with one another so if there are many groups out playing, you could get some scares. Great club house, with great service!

As of July 2008, course was in very good shape; greens are in good shape. Overall course is fun to play (translated: not too hard) with wide fairways, no water, lots of trees, and greens not too fast or hard to read. No problem with "the neighborhood". Tee times were adhered to, pace of play was good, no holdups (in play, that is), and fair price.

Great course!! The greens and fairways are well kept and the play is amazing. Some worry about the area but they are simply pansies!

A pretty rough area indeed, but friendly staff, course is normally in good shape, and for $21 for a twilight round you can't beat it.

man a bad area is right, dont worry about losing a ball you might loose your clubs.I played here last month for the last time they are always behind on the starter sheet the clubhouse was dirty the bathroom was worse, the course was built on a budget, run on a budget and the budget must have shrunk cause in the past twenty years this course fees have gone way up but quality has gone down .The grass is ok at best all the holes are flat and straight a very dangerous course expect to here fore yelled alot the course has length but even it is uneven
sorry but you have been warned
