PLAYED IN STRONG WINDS MADE COURSE VERY DIFFICULT, BUT HAD A GOOD TIME BECAUSE OF VIEWS

This course is beautiful especially the back nine which is on the exact same ocean that Pebble is on. In fact, Pebble is 10 minutes away and costs about 12 times more. Play it...you will like it!

I love this course! it is the best golf for the money in the area. It is well kept, and the scenery is spectacular! It isn't a long course and for the most part it isn't to difficult. It is a great course with great ocean views and a great value.

The Course is beautiful (back nine) and offers great value. However, my wife and I ended up getting stuck there for five and a half hours. No kidding. Absolutely no marshalls around to do anything about it. It was one of the most frustrating golf experience I had.

WOW....this is far and away the best course for the money on the Monterey bay. the scenery is awsome, and the course is really kept in great shape. the pace of play was great for us and the whole time I kept thinking about the other golfer just a few miles away paying 10times what we did to play a great course on the edge of the pacific ocean. if your down this way and get a chance to play this course. you won't be disappointed. trust me

The course is beautiful; the back nine over looks the ocean with fabulous views. A new club house and pro shop opened up in the last year or so which gives the course some needed amenities. The green fees are a steal for the area, the course is challenging although it was a little harder and prettier before the coastal commission decided to kill all the Ice plant.

If you want spectacular ocean views but cannot afford to play Pebble Beach or the other famous courses just down the road, Pacific Grove Golf Links is the perfect course for you! I teed off at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning and the weather was great. The clubhouse and proshop are clean and offer a wide variety of food and Pacific Grove apparel. The course itself was in great condition, especially due to the fact that it is a muni course. The front nine winds through the heart of Pacific Grove and the back nine features ocean views on each hole. This was one of my most enjoyable golf experiences and I hope I get to play there again one day.

When you can't afford Pebble Beach dues but want Pebble Beach views...

I absolutely couldn't believe the relatively painless green fee after I drove around the course, which is about a quarter mile down the beach from Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach, and all those other fancy places. The club house and pro shop are completely average and clean, but if you really care about a well-maintained course with amazing views and some challenging holes, you more than get your money's worth.
