I like Summitpointe. It convenient and plays well although perhaps a little predictable. The one challenge is the sheer golfer throughput. Both times I have played were early morning and there is definitely a feeling of being on a conveyer belt. Still - if you are looking for something that's a step up from a muni without going crazy this is a good place to check out.

I played after a week of rain so the course was very wet. However, the conditions were a good as can be expected given the weather. The course was in good shape and the greens were fast for such wet weather. I didn't like that their driving range was limited to irons only but it was sufficient to warm up with. As with most public courses the play was slow even for a Monday. I finished my round just over 5 hours as we waited for the group in front and they waited for the group in front of them and so on. The most difficult part of the course is the many uneven fairways since the course is on the side of a hill. Knowing how to hit off the fairway from uneven lies, especially when the ball is above or below your feet will dramatically improve your score. Greens are hard to read. Even the player that played there regularly had a difficult time reading the green. Some puts that appear to be flat are not and vice-versa. Overall very challenging and beautiful scenes. I would return when the course has dried out a bit.

We were displeased on how the course allows anyone to play. We had a small
tournament in front of us. The all had carts full of booze and beer...buy the 10th hole they were all really drunk...on the back side the four groups
became very hostile. At no time in a 11 hole stretch did any marshall come by. they were so loud how could they not be heard. and they were
so slow. when one of our ball trickled into there fairway they automatically picked it up. When we asked for it back they got pissed.
Then there foursoeme up front started coming back. I told are group since
we were heavily outnumbered lets just sit at this bench and let them get
a few holes ahead. It was a terrbile experience. A very poorly and un
professional place to play...They were even loud on the first tee. The
pro shop should have seen this coming especially with all of the alcohol
the four foursomes were carrying. Very terrible. I would never play
there again. I have played many courses in the bay area for years. NO
course would have allowed this and would have stopped it immediately.
Very poor excuse for a golf club. I surely would not buy a home up there
either....

The uneven lies in the fairways and the speed of the greens make this course. It was well maintained and fun to play.

Get ready to hit from uneven ground, if you're not in the center of the fairway you will be most likely hitting off non-flat lie. Course is clean and well maintained, marshalls monitor the pace pretty well. Great view of the bay, carts are in fairly new condition. Greens are tough. Holes are in the middle of a slope. It's great value, if your up for the challenge because the weekend rate comes with the cart and no -walking allowed.

killer.

This track is challenging with tons of elevation changes. The course is over-managed with marshals, during the golf tournament the groups were constantly pushed and even asked to pick up there golfballs. This club consist of good to very good players. Discussion with the marshals continued after the rounds for the slow play - completed just under 5 hours for a weekend is good. Anyway, if you going to have tourney here, I would advise not to have one, unless you want to be pushed all day.

i never played here but it was amazing! challenging greens and different elevated holes throughout the course

Some very tough side sloped fairways. Lots of water. Number 14 fairway is about 10 yards wide for most of last 200 yards with water right, side hill left with OB above and water guarding back left of green.

One of my favorite courses in the East Bay. Great elevation changes, challenging greens and usually a good pace of play. If you can bomb your driver straight you'll be set up nicely to score...assuming you don't putt like a four year old (like I do).

Hit it straight

This course in located in hills of Milpitas, Ca. Very few of the holes are flat and you'll be hitting a lot of your shots either above or below your ball. Very challenging course.

Played here once

Playing here was great, the first time my dad, me, and his friend were playing, his friend got a hold in one. Some of the scenery is beautiful. I'd play here again if I got the opportunity.
