Great place to play. Love the george C Thomas design. Best public course greens complexs in the county

Went for a round without a tee time on Sunday. I got on with no waiting. The course is little pricy, $64!!! However, it took me less than 5 hours to finish which I started at 10:10 a.m. I would play again whenever I get a chance.

Nice public course. $40 with a cart is reasonable. I played on Thursday, and it was so crowded, it took us 6 hours to complete the round!

The only bad thing I can say about this course ... it takes too long to play it. Expect a 6 -7 hour play time. I was there on a Friday and it was full!!

played this course on a weekend and didnt have too much waiting time. the staff at this course could use a little training on manners but other than that the course is beautiful. when i played this month in august, the climate was cooler than other courses due to the mountains surrounding us and the vast amount of pine tree's surrounding the fairway. the scenary is beautiful and i was happily surprised on one of the holes to see a family of deer grazing along the side of the fairway. even though the course is in los angeles, you feel like you're playing in big bear or arrowhead. very worth it i would recommend to everyone.

I accidentally wrote that the Harding course (this course's sister course) was designed in the early 19th century. These courses were made in the early 20th century. The Wilson and Harding courses were designed in the early 20th century, during the Golden Age of Golf, by legendary designer, George C. Thomas, Jr. If you are wondering why the courses do not sport more water hazards, well, it is because the variety of African Grass they chose requires extra watering. The city could not afford to refill all of the original hazards, and so they were slowly removed over the years. One of the courses actually sported a hybrid water-sand trap (mud?) - but it was removed years ago due to modernization. Despite the changes, both Wilson and Harding are challenging courses! These professional Golf courses are some of the most challenging in the Los Angeles area, though, arguably, the occasionally shabby maintenance may have added unduly to this common designation. Get a reservation; it's definitely worth the wait to play these old courses!

Another crowded course.

It's longer and more challenging than its sister Harding. Still crowded. You'll need a reservation.
