Canyon Golf Course


The 18-hole "Canyon" course at the Ventana Canyon Club and Lodge facility in Tucson, Arizona features 6,819 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.3 and it has a slope rating of 140 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Thomas Fazio, ASGCA, the Canyon golf course opened in 1984. Kimberly Wood, CCM manages the course as the General Manager.

Played the Canyon Course on 1/9/10. It was in great shape. The front nine was relatively easy while the back was very challenging with several loong par 3's & 4's. Recommend you get a yardage book as it is difficult to judge distances to hazards. Greens were firm and fast. Can't wait to get back to this facility and try the Mountain Course.
