I haven't played this course in 15 or so years, decided to go play on a whim because of the nice spring weather. Upon paying for my green fee and cart rental ($27) the Clubhouse attendant told me they were about to shut down the course and redo all the greens and that they would be ready around mid-August (so you might want to call). Anyway, the course was just as challenging as I had remembered. But.....the fairways left much to be desired. I recently purchased new TaylorMade clubs and drivers and would liked to have had some decent grass to hit off of. Hopefully they can get this rough gem back on it's feet soon. Overall nice experience and will try again early Sept.?

I have played this course a few times and the black fella (sorry no name, but you will know who he is) who runs the club house has always been a jerk. I've dealt with it before and went on to play with the guys. However, I took my wife there this weekend to get her out of the house. She doesn't play and just wanted to ride in the cart and read. I went to the club house to pay and get a cart. The same jackass who always works there saw my wife and told me that he would have to charge me full cart fee since she was there. If I were alone it would be $11 as opposed to $22. I told him to just charge me for her to play and she would swing my clubs and at least get something out of this. He said that wouldn't happen as she didn't have her own clubs. So, I have to pay full cart fee since she is there, yet I'm the only one playing? But, I can't pay for her to play because she doesn't have clubs? Let's see, Thats because she isn't there to play you A-hole! Little Rock/Hindman, you should be ashamed of yourself to have such a ridiculous rule/fee. I know you are trying to make a dollar, but lets not forget who or where you are. You are located on 65th street in the middle of the ghetto. If you didn't realize that, take a look at the dilapidated houses on the way to the course and the people you allow to fish on all of the course water hazards. Each are a wonderful first impression. I will be sure to recommend Burns Park from now on. Similar price, better course, and no hassle. All solid guys in the club house.

Played this course for the first time last weekend. I really enjoyed the way this course played. Well kept, nice greens, difficult enough, and great overrall value. A little disappointed in food options at the club house (hot dogs or vending machine) and we had to wait almost 45 mins past our tee time for a cart to come open. Other than that, I will definitely be playing this course often!

Challenging course, you must place your shots well or it's easy to add yardage and make par really hard to obtain. Great course though and nice scenery, staff has been friendly and I have met lots of good people to play rounds with.

Played here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and what a beautiful, well maintained course. Number 10 is tough. If you have a tendency to slice every now and then, like me, you'll lose your ball. Tight, tight fairway. What a fun course though. I will return.

Great course and a good value. Well-maintained. Signature hole is 180 uphill across a pond with lots of boulders bordering.

This is fun and challenging course. It is also a VERY GOOD DEAL. A cheap, top-noch course that is one of my favorites.

Played this course last Sunday(9/16/07)for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at what I got for the price. Greens were in great shape. Holes 10 and 13 were intimidating to me as I have only been golfing for 2 summers now. Fairway on 10 is VERY narrow but I actually hit a good shot and put it in the middle. Great course for the money. Would recommend it to anyone and plan to play there again.
One down note. Staff member I had contact with has NO people skills whatsoever.

Hindman is a tough course with tight fairways. If you don't hit it straight you won't do well on this course.

Well kept, tight course. All dog legs and no driver needed. Only got to play 8 holes before being rained out so I can't comment on the rest. Staff was rude when I got there and had locked the clubhouse when I tried to come in after the rain. 6 holes is considered a round there so no rain check.

Long narrow fairways

This is a tough course with long narrow fairways. Hit left or right and you're probably in the woods. However, there are no bunkers on this course. It's very well maintained and a lot of fun to play. This is my favorite public course in Little Rock.

Hindman Park Golf Course

I have played Hindman 2X and have enjoyed the experience both times. This is a very nice municipal course, well kept, and convinient. This is a good challenge for the fairweather golfer.
