Snyder Pro Performance Notes
Snyder Pro turned in one of the tighter iron dispersion numbers we've recorded, averaging just 63 RPM of sidespin with the 7-iron in our accuracy test, which is a useful strength. Overall accuracy and wedge control both landed right around the middle of the 43-ball field.
Stopping power is the weak spot. A relatively flat descent angle and lower 7-iron spin put it in the bottom third of our stopping power scores, meaning approach shots will release more than most balls in this test. That's fine if you prefer more distance via roll-out on iron shots, but it's worth knowing going in. At $38 a dozen, it's priced comfortably below tour balls from legacy brands, but in the same range as DTC competitor’s balls that hold greens noticeably better.
