We checked out a couple tops from LOHLA SPORT to answer your most important questions in this review
There’s a new brand in women’s golf fashion, and LOHLA SPORT, founded by former Golf Channel executive Lisa O’Hurley in 2020, aims to bring fresh designs on high-quality fabrics that function on and off the golf course.
So, does LOHLA SPORT hit the mark? We checked out two items from LOHLA’s latest collections, and with the help of some active women, answer the most important questions.
What’s LOHLA SPORT’s Look & Style?
LOHLA SPORT’s clothing is made to function for an active lifestyle – yes, that includes on the golf course – while bringing women the fashion trends they crave.
The pieces we checked out, The Sport Jacket, and The Denise Sleeveless Top, fit that profile.
The sleeveless top is a quintessential piece of women’s golf attire. It’s perfect on its own for those toasty mid-summer rounds, and can easily go over top of a base-layer when you need a little extra warmth. The two-tone – in this case navy and white – chevron design, with a red stripe, executes a high class look suitable for any golf setting. Meanwhile, the 95% polyamide / 5% elastane blend offers stretchy athletic performance that easily accommodates a golf swing.
Meanwhile, The Sport Jacket is a stylish top layer that blends a quilted body with lightweight windbreaker sleeves. As a light to mid-weight jacket, its ideal for any cool-weather days that are still warm enough for golf. More importantly, it’s a great-looking jacket with any outfit off the course.
How’s The Fit, Feel & Performance?
Our tester pointed out that the fit on the LOHLA SPORT sleeveless top is more of a form-fitting top. The suggestion from our tester was to stick with your normal size if you prefer a form-fitting look, or consider sizing up if you’re more comfortable with in a looser-fitting top.
Meanwhile, the sleeveless top functioned great as a performance piece for golf or other activities thanks to being lightweight, breathable, comfortable, and offering plenty of stretch.
The Sport Jacket fit true to size and our tester raved about the comfort, particularly the warmth from such a lightweight jacket, as well as the fashionable looks that make it a go-to daily top layer. The medium size, her standard size, offered plenty of flexibility to swing a golf club.
Fabric & Care
LOHLA SPORT’s tops, including the sleeveless top, polos and quarter-zips, are designed with the performance blend of 95% polyamide / 5% elastane, giving golfers and active women excellent freedom in tops that fit to your body. LOHLA recommends you wash in cold water and hang dry.
Meanwhile, the Sport Jacket has polyamide windbreaker sleeves while the quilted body is polyester.
