Tips for Creating Golf Shots Around the Green

Here is a tip for when you get around the green. On the green, once you get the proper technique, it is all about creativity. Creating different kinds of shot. Now you will notice I have three different clubs right here. Well the first thing I am going to do is take a pitching wedge and I am going to put the other two clubs down.

The lie is going to dictate anything I do with this shot. In this case here the ball is sitting up pretty well. So what I am going to do is hit three different shots with the same club just by moving that ball in my stance.

• The first one I am going to do is put the ball right in the middle of my stance. The ball goes a certain trajectory, it will go a certain distance.
• The next thing I am going to do is I am going to have the same lie all I have to do is move the ball back in my stance and that ball is going to come out a lot lower.
• If I want to hit a third different kind of shot what I do is I just move that ball up in my stance. When I move that ball up in my stance it is going to give me a much higher shot. But you notice from the same lie I hit three different shots.

Now if I change to those two other clubs over there that is going to give me nine different shots in my arsenal and you want as many different weapons in your arsenal as you can. So when I get the kids out around the greens not only do I work with technique but I also work very hard at creating different shots.
