Woodridge is improving. It was in disrepair for several years but now is coming back. Greens are excellent. Fairways and tees are fair to good. Lots of interesting holes and fun moguls. Lots of golfers now and good value.

I played the course on a wet early spring day just to get a feel of the course to see whether I would like to come back this summer and play some more with friends. All I can say is not to play after it has rained. The course has some significant drainage problems as was evident from sand trap ponds. Right now the course is undergoing some improvements in that area so I am anxious to see what it is like in a couple of months. The design of the course is fantastic. There is a little of everything: hills, flat, long, wide, narrow and a good bit of water. The par five finishing hole is great too. If you're going to play the course, wait til about mid April after the fairways are grown back in nicely and don't play it wet. Very enjoyable otherwise.

This course was in bad financial trouble and on the verge of closing but with the help of 4 local business men and the Woodridge Home assoc. it is becoming the best golf course in the area. I have played there this year and every trip improvements are being made. The staff is very friendly and the rates, $27.00 weekends and $22.00 weekdays are a steal. Fairways are defined and being fertalized along with the greens. Tee boxes still need work. I was told that the grounds keeper from Glade Springs has been helping with course conditions. Great place to play
