I played here last week. Twilight Sunday and early Monday. Slow play was no problem as we had the course to ourselves both rounds. The course was wet and I lost 3 tee balls and one approach that plugged in the fairway. I've played here for over 15 years and that hasn't changed. Whenever it's very wet expect plugged balls from the elevated tees on 2 and 11. It's a worthwhile stop if you get tired of GMN.

Played this course last year on the last day it was open so my Scenery rating is based on the days I've spent in the area on a clear day. It was cold when I played but the course was in great shape, very challenging and a lot of fun to play. I look forward to playing here again when I can actually feel my hands :-)

A VERY HILLY MOUNTAIN COURSE. EVEN LIE'S ARE SCARCE BUT
SCENERY IS ABUNDANT. FRIENDLY STAFF BUT PLAY CAN BE SLOW
BECAUSE OF NOVICE GOLFERS ON CHALLENGING TERRAIN.

Always problems with the maintenance on the fairways. Slow play seems to be encouraged, as others have noted. A few blind holes like old time courses, and to score well you have to focus. If you can play at an off time, it is worth the trip, but Green Mountain National down the road is better.

At $55 for a round of golf plus $18 a cart per person, I would have expected pristine conditions and a ranger to maintain pace, but not here. This is a very scenic course with the ski slopes visible on almost every hole. Beautiful holes are abundant and most are challenging. It's what I would expect from a resort course in a scenic part of Vermont. But pace was incredibly slow with hackers in front and no one to monitor speed...close to five hours for the round. The traps had crusty tan sand and couldn't blast from them, resorting to "cherry pick". It's a must course if it's your first time in the area...but could be improved! The scenery will capture your senses!
