The 18-hole "El Dorado" course at the Quail Valley Golf Course & City Centre facility in Missouri City, Texas features 6,680 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. Designed by Jeffrey Blume, the El Dorado golf course opened in 2009.
ElDorado Course is brand new and re-opened in Dec 2009. Very challenging and in great shape.
For the better player, this is a great value. Challenging but fair ( except for grass bunker in the middle of the 3rd hole) The greens role true, nice grass in fairway, actual rough around elevated greens, fluffy sand in the well placed bunkers, lots fo water, long par threes, two reachable par fives. All for $50 bucks on a Sat afternoon while not being crowded. Hackers would enjoy the La Quinta course more.
Played the course after the Grand Opening in December. I believe the city of MO City did a fantastic job. Give this course 18-24 months and it will be in fantastic shape. Slope Rating from the tips is 139. Good variety and challenges. I will play again.
