Course is in pretty good shape.

I've played this course the last 4 weekends in a row. The staff is top notch, the views are fantastic and the holes require great target hitting ability. This place has a ton of elevation change so don't let the distance fool you. It's a lot tougher than it looks.

Nice course. People were great, beautiful area, need to play it more than once to play it well. BRING PLENTY OF BALLS!! Overall, worth the money, better than avery or cimarron hills.

Add a few greenside pot buckers and this course would be perfect. This course has teeth. It is my favorite since moving to Cedar Park. I like avery ranch a lot but I love a golf course that can mugg you if you are off.

I you have a RH draw in your bag you will love it. If not, bring a bucket full of balls!!

Decent course for the price, but it has an evil side. Lots of sloping fairways can and will roll balls off to places you don't want them to go. In the past couple of years the level of maintenance has gone way, way up, and now the course is in generally good condition. Lack of bunkers has always been a disappointment. Lots of new housing construction around the course has really hurt the scenic value.

A fun course cut into the hills. Only played once and local knowledge would help a lot but we had a blast. The elevation changes, the scenery, the wildlife, we really enjoyed ourselves. We'll be back.

A shot makers course

I live locally in Leander and play this course at least once a week. Since moving from California in Feb. It was nice to find a great local course. The people are friendly but they have to be since most golfers come away with their tail between their legs. The course falls off to the right on many holes so you must make a good club selection. For example: the first hole is a par 5 all the way up hill. You can reach the green in regulation with a 3 wood off the tee followed by a good rescue club and wedge in to the green. I've seen many greedy players go for the driver and end up out of bounds or playing their second shot from fairway number 9. The views are all great on this course with deer, rabbit and wild turkey running around. I think you will enjoy Crystal Falls.
