played tierra santa in November the past 2 years. It is a nice layout, good length, plenty of opportunities for trouble, and well manicured greens and fairways. I would rate it as the best kept course in the Brownsville, Valley region.
This course could easily be one of the best courses in the RGV. However, sand traps have been abandoned, and the overall maintenance has declined due to what appears to be financial problems. Still a fun course to play if only it had better maintenance.
