I've played Bear Trace several times, and it is always very well maintained with slick/fast greens. There are sand traps on most every hole and deep woods lining at least one side on most holes that will penalize errant shots. However, the only water hazard is #14.I agree with some of the other comments that the course is pricey. I can't afford to play here often, but it's a nice treat every now-and-then.
