Stumbled across this course in between rounds traveling and turned around. Glad I did. I had time for a quick 9 and no disappoint here. The friendly staff and pinpoint shotmaking required made it enjoyable to play.

I play this course about once a month. It is a challenging course with fairways slightly more narrow than other courses i play. The course is very well tended and the staff is great! I really enjoy playing this course.

I have played the course twice this summer. Very scenic, somewhat challenging and overall in very good condition. Great staff and great price!

Played this course today. Found the greens to be firm but in excellent condition. Asked about the previous comment and was informed the greens had partially frozen out over the past winter but that all had since been repaired. Overall I found it to be a pleasant experience.

I played here recently and it was one of the worst courses I have ever played. The majority of the greens were in terrible shape with little to no grass. The fairways were extremely rough and bumpy. I am not sure how it ever got a 4 star rating but it must have went down hill over time. The people were friendly but the course was in terrible shape.

I played this course and enjoyed it so much I went back 4 days later. Very interesting track.. not long but you better place your shots or pay the price! No boring holes and some great scenery! Greens are bermuda and roll true, tee boxes need a little work but on the whole a very enjoyable experience for a very reasonable price. I felt welcome the minute I walked in the pro shop. Be sure to have Jan make you the best burger in the area, once you are done with your round. Highly recommend... I plan to go back!

Played over 300 courses in my life. This one rates in the top 25 for layout and fun. Play it if you get the chance.

Tight fairways, a course for faders and slicers, hookers be careful. Good variety of woods, water, sand. Nice Bermuda greens. If you haven't played the new course at Chickasaw (the Trails) you haven't played this course. It's come a long, long way and is still coming. Yes, much work needs to be done, but the greens are great and the course is fun. Recent addition is a grill that is wonderful for b'fast and lunch. Price is very reasonable.

This is a fun course with a premium on accuracy. Trying for maximum distance will probably result in some lost balls. The fairways roll in every direction so it helps if you know which direction it is likely to go. Numerous blind shots to the greens so go for the center. You can plan your putts once you've gotten there. Overall, a fun course with lots of friendly people.

I've played this course before they did major renovation and was amazed at the transformation. I particularly like the fact that there are NO parallel fairways. Each hole surrounds you with scenic beauty and it takes an effort to stay focused on golf on some of the holes because of the view. For friendly, very inexpensive golf with a real enjoyable challenge, try The Trails at Chickasaw. I did and joined as a member.

Where not how far.

You must make shots on this course. There are NO side by side fairways. 20 yards left or right of the fairway & you have a lost ball.Beautiful course, good condition, friendly people, & a great lunch.
