I drive an hour at least six times a year just to play Wyncote. It rates up there with some of the best courses I play in South East PA and the South Jersey area. The course is challenging but fair, well maintained and the Greens are fast and true (10+). It is truly like a wide open Scottish style course with some protected areas, no trees that come into play and some very nice views of the Pennsylvania landscape. But be warned the wind is always in play, sometimes even on your putts.

The Clubhouse has a feeling of a private club and the restaurant has a very good menu both for lunch and dinner. It’s a Golfing experience you don’t mind making a day of.

After playing this course for the first time, it made a solid impression. Most everything looked well kept and the staff was fairly knowledgable. Unfortunately the greens were just airated the other day, so I didn't get to experience the same greens most people rave about, but it didn't take away from the round for the most part, they still roll fairly well. Would definitely reccommend trying it.

I recently played Wyncote and came away very impressed. The fairways and greens were in great shape and the rough around the greens was very consistent. It's a very tough course and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is more than a 15-20 handicap. The wind swirls, the greens are fast and the rough almost always amounts to a lost or unplayable ball. That said, there are a lot of interesting holes, and the greens were in absolutely amazing shape. Definitely buy a yardage book though or you will be guessing an awful lot.

The staff was really helpful and the restaurant is also legit.

Awesome golf course. Played on a near perfect weather day, Sunny, almost no wind and mid 60's. I'm sure a normal windy day would have made this course a lot more difficult. You definitely have to hit it straight off the tee or you will normally be in some serious trouble. A very fair course though and it was in spectacular condition, especially since it is the middle of Nov. You can't beat $40 winter rates for this course. It's a steal really, compared to some other local 'winter rates' courses that are still in $50's that aren't nearly as nice as Wyncote. Staff was very friendly and a first class facility all around.
