This is the tale of two courses. The front is the typical Butler course. Wide open fairways with a lot of room to miss. The back is a totally different experience, with minimal room to miss, more like that of grandview. When you take this course as a hole it is good. The greens are fantastic, fast and pure. The layout has a little of everything. There are short par 4's and long par 4's. There are blind shots, dog legs both ways, uphill and downhill shots, points you have to layup and points where you can go for it. I enjoyed my round there and will play again.

At $20 for seniors on a week day price is GREAT. Greens very very fast. Because of the speed of the greens, thinking is required on approach shots. There are some holes that appear tricky, but if you just think they are playable. The down side is that there are no markings on the tee boxes as to the length of the hole and or the directions you must go. And on some of the holes direction is very very important. I will return, it is the kind of course that must be played again as soon as possible.

This is one of the worst courses in the country. For me to play this course I would have to be paid 35 dollars. The greens are very small and firm. There are no fairways there are just weeds. Never play this course

The back nine is not fair in dry weather. I think it is over priced for the condition.

Ok Course

Front 9 is nice and open fairways with the back 9 being much harder. Is a fairly good price I golf here all the time. Overall its a good course for public.
