local course, hilly, but not to hard. needs better maintence, just found out big mower is broke down. priceing should be lower for the care the course gets.

Small unfriendly greens; although it is early in the season the greens and fairways were in very poor shape.

This is a course you need to play twice to really enjoy. If you want a flat course, don't come here. It was hard to see the pin from the tees of most of the par 4's Have to drive up the fairway to see what is over hill. You do have to think about your hits up to and on to the green. Being able to bounce onto the down hill greens is a must. Greens are small. The course it self was in excellent shape. Didn't like playing from the rough, but I'm not suppose to be there anyways. The score card needs to be updated. Read the tee markers for yardage of hole. Pro Shop needs to be brightened up. I though I was going into a cave. Overall, I'm going back

They have better Maintenance than in the past. They have kept the course in very nice shape with the dry weather the past year

Lies

This is a nice course, it used to be named Willow Run but "Rolling" Pines is a lot more accurate. 9 out of every 10 shots you take (besides tee shots) will be from some type of an uneven lie (lots of side-hill lies). You can't beat playing 18 holes w/ a cart for 20 bucks though!

Very nice course for all levels of play

The course has a nice layout the missed fairways on many holes arent a problem. The last summer was a bit dry but this current year 2006 they have new ownership and a new irragation system in place and everything will improve higher than my star ranking. The only problem I found in this course is slicers and even straight hitters have a problem because alot of the fairways are sloped to the right. If you miss greens make sure you know where to miss alot of them are elevated and can be a tough up and down but nothing too hard that a well placed shot from someone who shoots high 80's low 90's cant pull off. The golf instruction is first class alittle pricier than other places but learning from a pga tour proffesional doesnt have a price tag. A very friendly atmoshpere and a very well stocked pro shop, demo clubs and a real grass driving range is a key. They sell anything from wedges to callaway drivers and if you forgot your putter like i once did they have many to choose from.
