Juniper Golf Course, Redmond, OR

Awesome course, but have really increased their rates to a steap price. The design is spactacular, tons of variety: reachable par 4s, varying undulations, long and reachable par 5s. I love the back 9, 10 and 12 are wonderful risk/reward holes. It's possible to walk out from those two 3 under, or even 4 over. Lava rock, desert sand, and shrubs line the fairways. Just a cool, well maintained course.

Played at 1:00 pm twilight for $35 walking in October. Pro Shop said they had a $45 internet rate for cart and lunch on M, T & W. Better deal than twilight.
By myself on front 9 but backed up on the final 7 holes.
Terrific greens and very good fairways with good bunker sand. Tough enough from the whites. Lava rock, sagebrudh and sand off the fairways but mostly still playable if you stray. Water on 3 or 4 holes. Right in Redmond off Highway 97. Great clubhouse. Scenery is okay but not spectacular, desert type course. Hydro line across the west side of golf property somewhat spoils view of mountains. Par 5's are back to back on holes 6 & 7. Fairly easy to walk.
