This course is pure Ross. played with an member and really enjoyed his company and course knowledge. Big for an earlier Ross course at nearly 6,800 yards, but with all the Ross bells and whistles, including false fronts, tricky, slippery greens, and the usual false sight lines. The course has been faithfully restored, even recently restorative changes have been made. I would absolutely put this on a short list of Ross courses to play. Well maintained, resort environment, but well worth the fee to play a restored piece of history. A players course.

Chris-course manager was a gentleman. Overall course was average. Would not go out of my way to play it. Not worth the money.

Everthing was great as to be expected from a resort course. Tees, fairways and greens were well maintained. Sale for 'end of year' was great too for top of the line cloths. Don't expect to see the Lake after the 1st hole. Fees were high but it's a resort. 4some noise can be heard. Sidehill lies, some uphill too. Puts are true to yor read. No incart GPS so if concerned with yard-to-go, be aware Flags appear closer then they are.

Course is in great shape. Greens are perfect. fairways well maintained. Staff very friendly. Teed off at 8am, alone. Scenery is great. A bit pricy, but I guess they expect to get it with the Sagamore name. Maybe thats why the course was empty. Grass driving range, small putting area. Overall, great course and experience. Cant use driver on every par 4. Great strategy golf. Good layout!

Scenery could not be rated due to foggy day. Views (so we are told) of the lake are the best around.
