Great golf course. The fairways are perfect and tee boxes are beautiful. The push for fast play which i always enjoy. I gave 4.5 stars only because they did not have a bar, but maybe because its right on a college campus maybe?

Just started playing this year and this is my first time at Rutgers.I really enjoyed playing this course because of the wide fairways and greens. Will definitely play here again someday.

Great Course. Staff is very nice and respectable. Fairways are very well kept and so are the tee boxes. Really love this course.

First time I played there - I enjoyed it. Well maintained, as you would expect from Rutger's Cooperative Extension. Greens were pretty tough - very undulated and medium-to-fast. I would like to play there again.

Practice area is excellent. Course gets a lot of traffic, my round was exactly 4:30 - not too slow. Fairways are tight (but not too tight) - a good challenge to play a variety of shots. Greens are well-manicured, and course is well-bunkered. Definitely a nice course.

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST WELL MAINTAINED PUBLIC COURSES IVE EVER SEEN, ADDITIONALLY THE FEMALE PRO (FORGOT HER NAME) IS PHENOMENAL, I WAS BEHIND HER AND A CLIENT DURING A LESSON.....MOST IMPORTANT IS THE FACT THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST FUN COURSES IVE EVER PLAYED, IT ISNT THE MOST DIFFICULT BUT IT IS FAR FROM EASY, IF YOUR LOOKING TO PLAY A COURSE THAT YOU CAN MAINTAIN AND SHARPEN YOUR SKILLS THIS IS IT. FOR A AVG PLAYER OR REALLY GOOD NEW PLAYER THIS IS A GREAT COURSE TO HAVE FUN, LEARN ALOT, AND STILL BE ABLE TO FOCUS ON SHARPENING CURRENT SKILLS !!!! THE NEGATIVE IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULATED COURSES IN THE TRISTATE !!!

Great course and well maintained. I've played it several times and each time it's been great.

The staff was very friendly and the locals who play the course were very helpful. Reasonably priced for a Jersey track and I assume not too busy due to weather and it be gameday and all. Great course that will have me playing my fall rounds here every yr.

Not a bad course, but the staff, especially the course rangers' are very rude and have little knowledge on how to keep a course moving along. I have played at Rutgers for 6 years, less often each year. Course is in good shape and the layout is good. However, the rounds are long and the rangers are miserable.

I used to play this course weekly years ago....now only once or twice a year. This is an enjoyable course....although, play can be pretty slow at times.

Greens are average to above average in speed. Many of the fairways are tree-lined. A good test of your golf skills.

rutgers golf course

I enjoy rutgers golf course. It's greens are very undulating and they just re-did the bunkers. The college atmosphere is nice.
