We played here last year and had a good time. Tried it again today and firmly agreed it WAS THE LAST TIME EVER! the course was in good shape but we were treated Soo rudely but the starter, it was unforgivable! We arrived 45 minutes early and wanted to warm up a little on the range but the starter caught and forcefully told us we needed to tee off Now! A few holes in, the starter approached us and told us we should stop taking pictures and concentrating on playing golf. He said they had a shotgun start soon and basically we needed to be out of the way. We were holding up No One and we had scheduled our tee time well in advance. Before leaving, I wanted to speak to mgt but the pro shop said the starter was the boss and it is not uncommon for him to be rude...well it won’t happen to us again.

Been playing this course for 12 years and I've never seen it this bad. Golf has become an after thought to the new restaurant. The change to the course are awful. It's as if a novice that doesn't understand golf decided to redesign the thing. The pro shop and locker room are embarrassing. It seems they forgot that they needed them and added them after the building was built. The condition is horrible. It's sad to see. This was one of the most enjoyable courses within 100 miles. Now it's worth skipping. I can't believe anyone that knows anything about golf had a hand in these changes.

I played his course yesterday as part of the Western Peidmont Seniors group...so of course it was a real value. We played from the Gold Tees so it was probably 5500 yrds or so. THis is probably one of the best maintained cursesI have played on as part of this group. THe fairways were immaculate....the greens smooth and true and prtty quick. THe fairways were generous as someone pointed out earlier. There are a number of hazards that cross the fairways in the driving landing areas and it helps to play with a member or someone who has played there before. I had the advice of a member on club selection which was helpful. Its semi hilly with which required a few downhill lies on your second shot. All in All it was a very enjoyable course and one I intend to play again.
