Chester Country Club

Really nice golf course considering it is only a 9 hole par 36. The differences between the whites and blues are enough that you can play 18 and feel like you're playing very different holes, this is not always the case, but it does make it a bit more challenging. The greens on this course are beautiful, absolutely top notch for this area, this time of year. The greens are firm enough to produce a consistent roll but soft enough that you can hold a green with nearly every club. The elevation changes, doglegs, and potentially driveable par 4 allow you to choose your own lines and does not allow the big hitters to get the big advantage as hazards, trees and the natural flow of the hills can negate any advantage they have. All in all it was a great course, the members were nice the staff was friendly. Will be looking forward to playing again!
