Arcadia Bluffs golf course speaks for itself. It's sad that a round of golf in a dream course you are pushed by rangers and head pro. Won't drive five hours anytime soon. If you want to enjoy this course it won't happen rangers and spotters up your @$!*%.
An incredible experience! I have been lucky to play a lot of nice courses and this one ranks up there with Pebble, The Prince, Bandon and Spanish Bay. The service is even better. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We stayed at the lodge (spectacular views) and my wife, who doesn't golf, wants to go back. Get the filet for dinner. It is perfect. The evening is topped off by a bagpiper who plays near the lodge on the course until sunset. Make sure you put this one on your golf bucket list! You won't regret it.
Arcadia Bluffs is what I imagine golfing in heaven would be like. This might be the most beautiful place on earth. The course is not tricked up. Wide fairways, really fast greens simply a very fair and beautiful golf course.A cocktail watching the sunset followed by a 5 star meal. WOW!!!
By far the most beautiful 6 hours and 5 minutes of golf I'veEver played. The head pro along with his utterly clueless staffof rangers should be working at a par 3/9 hold course. After being rushed of the driving range and made to tee off 10 minutes early. Our foursome waited every shot the rest of ourround. After spending $180 green fee, $26 for a hat, $ 25 a roundfor pop, water, and beer the best the head pro could say was" woulda 9 hole rain check help any". We and the group who played behind us and quit before finishing thought he was nuts.Go to Boyne! It's a 1/3 of the price. Pace of play is great becausethe staff gets it. The extra 1:45 drive is WELL worth it!
Absolutely my fav course so far. The scenery is amazing (even in October/April). Greens/fairways kept in good condition and makes it feel like a pro course. Everytime I make it back home to Michigan, I always make my way up north to Arcadia.
I have played quite a bit of golf in my day and this was in the top 3 courses I have ever played. My family foursome went "upnorth" and played this and bay harbor. Arcadia bluffs was awesome...the wind died down that day and the sun was out with no clouds. It was like paradise on earth. The greens were awesome...the bluff views were amazing. This coures was awesome and if it is a coin flip to go play in regards to some other course in MI...unless its Bay Harbor you should hit Arcadia. I cant wait to get my daughter up there to play this summer!
