Arcadia Bluffs golf course speaks for itself. It's sad that a round of golf in a dream course you are pushed by rangers and head pro. Won't drive five hours anytime soon. If you want to enjoy this course it won't happen rangers and spotters up your @$!*%.

An incredible experience! I have been lucky to play a lot of nice courses and this one ranks up there with Pebble, The Prince, Bandon and Spanish Bay. The service is even better. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We stayed at the lodge (spectacular views) and my wife, who doesn't golf, wants to go back. Get the filet for dinner. It is perfect. The evening is topped off by a bagpiper who plays near the lodge on the course until sunset. Make sure you put this one on your golf bucket list! You won't regret it.

Arcadia Bluffs is what I imagine golfing in heaven would be like.
This might be the most beautiful place on earth.
The course is not tricked up. Wide fairways, really fast greens simply a very fair and beautiful golf course.
A cocktail watching the sunset followed by a 5 star meal. WOW!!!

By far the most beautiful 6 hours and 5 minutes of golf I've
Ever played. The head pro along with his utterly clueless staff
of rangers should be working at a par 3/9 hold course.
After being rushed of the driving range and made to tee off 10
minutes early. Our foursome waited every shot the rest of our
round. After spending $180 green fee, $26 for a hat, $ 25 a round
for pop, water, and beer the best the head pro could say was" would
a 9 hole rain check help any". We and the group who played
behind us and quit before finishing thought he was nuts.
Go to Boyne! It's a 1/3 of the price. Pace of play is great because
the staff gets it. The extra 1:45 drive is WELL worth it!

Absolutely my fav course so far. The scenery is amazing (even in October/April). Greens/fairways kept in good condition and makes it feel like a pro course. Everytime I make it back home to Michigan, I always make my way up north to Arcadia.

I have played quite a bit of golf in my day and this was in the top 3 courses I have ever played. My family foursome went "upnorth" and played this and bay harbor. Arcadia bluffs was awesome...the wind died down that day and the sun was out with no clouds. It was like paradise on earth. The greens were awesome...the bluff views were amazing.

This coures was awesome and if it is a coin flip to go play in regards to some other course in MI...unless its Bay Harbor you should hit Arcadia. I cant wait to get my daughter up there to play this summer!

easily the best public course in michigan. there is no other course like it in the midwest with the exception of the straits course at whistling straits. amazing course great views of lake michigan and a beautiful venue

It is like another world. I can not believe it is Michigan. I can't wait to return. Everything breaks to the lake no matter what it looks like! Restaurant has a small menu. So-so food but a perfect view.

Beautiful course with a lot of great, challenging shots. The relatively wide fairways give some room off the tee but missed approach shots can be very penal. Velvety smooth, tiered greens are true to links golf. $110 twilight rounds are the best value around - Sunday twilight starts earlier than the other days.

my uncle is the pro here at Arcadia and I get to play for FREE! awesome course. amazing views. an experience you will never forget

What a beautiful golf course! The golf course borders Lake Michigan with the majority of holes having the lake as a backdrop. Has the flavor of a links course with few trees but a lot of sand bunkers and tall grass. Some bunker walls are more than 6 feet tall. Many tees to choose from so If you want to play a course at 7,300 like I did (father-in-laws idea) you can see what it is like to play a par 4 at 491 yards. Tight course layout with many hills and big greens with undulation's. I would Recommend a golf cart as many holes have a long walk from the green to next tee box. Nice restaurant with a great view. You can get some deals on green fees at certain times of the day to play. For a public golf course your not going to find a better view for the price.

must have keen eyes or shoot straight

what a majestic course, difficult to the extreme, but the beauty and the views of the lake from above are worth the struggle. fore caddies would be a great investment/amenity, none available when we played, but it would speed play and increase the enjoyment, without them a slightly off fairway shot can turn in to a ten minute stare down with the tall grass, you get a myopic headache after a few holes like this, the greens are a real treat as well, some are huge and undulating, multi tiered monsters, three putts are almost assured from some spots, maybe even taken as a break

Arcadia worth the price

Spectacular course bordering Lake Michigan winding between sand dunes and hills. Worth the high price but bring your A game. Accuracy a necessity with narrow fairways and elevated greens. Multiple tees for all levels of play. Hard to concentrate on golf when the views are spectacular. Top restaurant overlooking the course and Lake Michigan sunset. Very good practice facility.
