Bad enough you have to pay such outrageous property taxes to live in this county. $19 for this course is totally outrageous. Fun little course, but for $19, forget it!

Good course for beginners or someone who just wants to play nine relitively easy holes. Very nice staff. My major complaint is that there is no drinking water available for players on the course, nor is there a refreshment cart. I didn't know this and I didn't take anything out with me. I was forced to play a three hour round, in 90+ degree heat, with nothing to drink. Not a pleasant experience.

Good for beginners and decent for anyone looking to play a quick cheap round to work on their game. The course upkeep is just alright. The staff is fairly friendly but the course can get crowded and really slow things down. Every hole plays extremely short, and even the beginner with a little power can drive the greens on par 4's. Much better municipal courses in Montgomery County for the same price.

This is a par 34 executive 9 course for the beginning and intermediate golfer. It is a quick and easy golf fix in the scenic Sligo Creek area of Maryland. I enjoy holes 4 through 9. For an executive 9, it has decently placed sandtraps, water hazards on 6 of the 9 holes, and some fun challenges for the 20 plus handicap golfer. The eighth and ninth holes are inhabited by a small lake with a tributary that extends back to the fourth hole. The course is wide open and holes 4 through 7 slope downward into the tributary. Not recommeded for highly skilled golfers (unless you just want to feel like Tiger out there) but it can help build confidence for those who score 90 and up.
