Tough course this is the toughest of all the Baltimore Municipals. Enjoyed playing it but the greens were lightning fast and hard, it was almost impossible to get an approach shot to stick without rolling off. I am a decent golfer not great but only hit 3 GRI here if it were not for good short game I would have shot over 100 easily. I also played it in the dryest month of last summer too, so alittle rain might just slow it up enough to shoot really low.

Of all the courses in the inner city, this is the best one. It is relatively well maintained, long, mild to moderate elevation changes, and medium to fast greens. You will nned to use every club in your bag....and also need and WISH that you had the ones you left at home!!! Good luck.

Arnold Palmer won a pro tourament here in 1956 so you figure Mt. Pleasant can hold its own as a challenging course. It has some beefy holes, a few strategic holes, and a fair amount of hungry greenside bunkers, but it is an attractive layout as well. #1 is a monsterous par 5 with plenty of room to spare but #10 is a par 5 with almost no room for error. Mt. Pleasant has a nice variety of par 3s to try different irons with but the course is loaded with par 4s -- 13 of them if you choose to play the uphill, into-the-wind #9 as a 445 yard par 4! You'll notice several elevated tees with the course pretty much in front of you. It's impressive and you'll definitely come back for more. Great value and staff. No driving range but who cares.

Exceptional value!

If you have never played Mt Pleasant you should give it a try. A fairly hilly layout in parts. Course is kept in great shape for the amount of rounds that are played. One of the best values in the entire area.
