A three star course. Course is extremely short, but plays longer due to all the hills. Can get very crowded, even during the week. People seemed pleasant, but not overly helpful. A few nice holes. Not a great value for the price. I played on a weekday and was still $55 with a cart. Overall somewhere I most likely wouldn't play again unless someone wanted to. In one sentence, a typical city course.

This course has a great view of Boston. It's a little out of the way from the city, but worth it. The cost is a little high. The staff was incredibly rude, I was pretty unhappy with how I was treated. The restaurant there was great, and the food was good. I would recommend to everyone.

The course is well maintained. Greens are smooth and true. Overall good value, $46 bucks for weekend play (I walk). There are some wacky holes that dont seem to belong on the course. Like many New England courses it is hilly but fun to play. They do not have a 9 hole fee, and the people there are generally fun to talk with. Totally worth the money. Nothing outstanding, but a solid golf course.

Presidents is a challenging course for being so short - Greens are quick especially before some of the county tournaments held there - The price is high but fair for the Boston area - In spite of "the hill" it walks fairly easily and the layout is good but poorly marked if you have never played there - make sure you have a card if you play without someone who knows the course. I find the staff to be much kinder than some of the other reviewers who apparently don't understand that replacing divots is absolutely standard golf ettiquette... and a person who doesn't do that shouldn't be playing on any golf course... There is a lot of slope and breaks on the greens are often greater and more extreme than you may read them.

This course is relatively nice and fun to play. The proshop sells clubs and balls more cheaply than most. The holes are fun and challenging and the course is well mantained. What kills presidents is the service. The help is extremely rude and unwilling to accomodate even the simplest request. The day I played was rainy but playable, although the forecast called for rain later on. The proshop attendant refused to allow us to play 9 and see if we wanted the other nine, we had to decide then and now. A greenskeeper yelled at a playing partner of mine, "replace your ****ing divot" before he had even come out of his finish position. Rudest help at any course ever. I'm in my twenties and friends have said that rangers will routinely follow young groups and watch their every move. Not worth the hassle.

The only reason this is a tough course is.....

Due to the fact that it is built on the side of a large hill, with scenic views of Interstate 93. Iff you enjoy playing with the ball above or below your feet all the time, then this is the course for you. If you want a scenic view of Dorchester and I-93 then go on down to presidents.
