The 9-hole "Bungay Brook" course at the Bungay Brook Golf Club facility in Bellingham, Massachusetts features 3,136 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Howard Maurer, the Bungay Brook golf course opened in 2002.
Bungay is my go-to course because you can usually walk on with minimal wait time on weekdays, and it always is in very nice condition. It is pretty forgiving with a wide open layout too. The only downside is the price, 20 bucks for 9 holes, but you get better conditions as a result.
I play in a league at Bungay Brook and enjoy it very much. The clubhouse has a pretty good pro shop and a nice bar/restaurant area. The course isn't extremely difficult as it's pretty wide open. As for the maintenance, I havent played many courses that look this nice. It is very well kept. Greens are large and in great shape and the fairways are always nice and smooth too. Overall, I really like this course. While the rates may be a bit high for a 9 hole course, it is very nice to play this course.
Well maintained course, and very good for beginners and folks who don't get out much as it is open layout. Only drawback is that the greens fee's at $30 for 9 hole course are bit much.
Great great great condition.. Like a private course..Staff was nice.. Would play again..
