Cypress Bend Golf Resort & Conference Center , Many, LA

I enjoy strategic golf courses so I enjoy my round here. You have to play it a few times to get used to the layout and know where to hit the ball. Very scenic. Great staff. Green fees good all day. Very reasonable. Tee boxes good, fairways very nice, greens generally quite good. Lots of uneven lies. Definitely worth the visit.

The setting for this course is superb, absolutely gorgeous. The huge Toledo Bend Lake is the backdrop for many of the holes. The staff could not be more gracious and helpful - it's a shame the course is not entirely up to snuff. Perhaps I'm unfamiliar with the growing seasons in this part of the country (we were just passing through), but in early June I expected better conditions. The fairways already seemed stressed and were a bit "weedy" and the greens were spotty and bumpy - not the true roll others have reported. Many greens were bordered by large areas marked Ground Under Repair - perhaps old bunkers growing into grass. The front nine is nothing special, but the back nine, especially the closing stretch, provides several unique and memorable holes right along the lake. The par fives are a bit screwy, not overly long, but featuring a severe dog leg off the tee. Hit driver on these par 5s and, unless you can shape your shots, you'll likely be through the fairway and into the woods. Even so, it's a fun course and I enjoyed our round amid the beautiful setting.

My visit to the resort was wonderfull! The place is amazing, so clean, the pool is great, the course is very challenging, the scenery is beautifull, and the staff can never do enough for you. I would visit again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to everyone!

This is a very challenging course and the scenery is awesome. Vey nice range and practice green. The staff is super nice and the greens are true. Toledo Bend is a great place to visit for golf or fishing.

This is a shot makers course. Though not long it is very challenging. Awesome scenery and fun to play. Mapquest directions will take you to a dead end road so you better be familiar with the area to get around it, but other than that little challenge you will love this course. Very friendly staff.
