You cannot make tee times. Since they opened it is first come first served. I did call to see how busy they were and the club personnel told me they had a church outing between 2 - 3 today so come out after and it should be wide open.

We showed up at 4:30 and the course was packed. But we had an 18 hole round in about 3 1/2 hours. Too long in my opinion for a short, easy course like this one. In fact, I witnessed the group in front of us 2 holes behind and holding us up, allowing an obvious beginner, getting at least 4 tee shots until she got it off the tee box. Beginners at golf gravitate here and do not respect the rules of golf IMHO.

Fees are so reasonable. To walk 9 the fee is $10 and to add a cart add $5. To play another 9 add $5 and another $5 for a cart. We walked in after our first 9 and thought the pace of play was OK so plunked down another $10 and we were good to go. And because they do not have water stations on the course they provide a free bottle of water for your nine...nice touch.

Course conditions - not manicured and pretty rough but the greens were very good - consistent speed and manicured. Even the ball marks on the greens had been attended to. Overall it just seemed like they need to grow more grass on the tee boxes and not let the weeds interfere.

One last comment please - the gentleman running the shop this afternoon was very cordial and upfront about the slow play. I also confronted him about the course rating and he admitted that the slope/rating on this webpage is not accurate. There is none that exists.
