As you can see with the other reviews this golf course is poorly managed. It is very true what other reviewers say, "The owner Mike does not have any clue how to treat customers and is a jerk". My personal experience is based on me leaving my wedge on the 18th green. I realized after i got home that i left my club, so i called and talked to management who said they had it in their possession. I told them I would be back in less than 2 days to pick it up. After driving nearly an hour to come get it, I was told the club was gone. I truly believe an employee stole my club. I highly recommend to golf somewhere where you will not have to worry about employees stealing your items.

Never golf here!!!! The owner Mike does not have any clue how to treat customers and is a jerk. The course does not honor tee times you make and prepay that offer discounts from the internet. I made tee times through an online vendor that sold tee times for Hawks Tail I prepaid and even had receipt. When I called golf course to explain I may be a few minutes late I was told they didn't have me down for any tee time that day. I was given no solution accept its your problem and you need to deal with the online vendor. I then was called the next day by Mike the owner and was harassed by him for using vulgar language. I told him the situation that his employee put me in and that I was not offered any resolution to my problem accept It was not their fault!! Mike was not understanding and only called me to harass me. I believe this course is dishonest and sold my tee time to a full paying customer and screwed me!!! For this reason and having spoken to the owner I will never recommend this golf course to anyone. Again this is just my opinion but Beware!!!!

As a past member this one of the best places to play golf in central Indiana. The owner is a top notch pro and a very nice person. The course is alway kept up to high standards. You can not find any better greens to putt on. Hawk's trail prides their self in keeping the greens lighting fast and smooth as silk. I live in Las Vegas and I'm always telling people how nice the course was back in Indiana. I can hardly wait to get back there for vacation. The members at this golf course will always make you feel welcome.

Just a few words to those out there looking for a place to hold a reception. I would not under any circumstances recommend this piece of crap place. The owners talk you into renting this place acting all nice. Then, on the day of your reception they act like a bunch of assholes. They are all rude and a bunch of drunks. The owners are drunk and approach you with very rude attitudes. The reception area was not set up right so we had to set it up ourselves. Meanwhile, one of the owners who was drunk sat there eyeballing us the whole time being rude. The carpet had big stains on it that they tried to hide with a table. Hint, the reason the tables were not set up right. One huge stain was right in front of the reception table where the bride and groom were sitting. I hated to do it but I did not attend the reception due to poor business practices. I read that someone wrote that they werent that busy, well I wonder why!!! You ought to be shut down. Bunch of loser!!!!!

Great course, usually not real busy. Very challenging course, three of the par 5's can be reached with a couple good shots. Many times throughout the year they have specials to ride for 25 bucks.

This is a very well kept course, well managed and not bunched up, they do a good job of timing every group. The sand traps look very nice, but good luck trying to blast one out of there, a half inch below the surface it's like concrete and you'll bounce your sand wedge every time, I can't understand how they let those sand traps get like that... they need to send someone in those things with a roto tiller. It's a good value for this nice of a course (if you can manage to stay out of the sand).

Greenfield CC

This is a nice course and it has it's share of trouble, sometimes out of view, on quite a few holes. Long off the tee isn't always appropriate here! Sand could be improved a bunch.
