One of top two courses in Northern Illinois outside the Chicago area. Must play if you are looking for a challenging public course with excellent value. At about $50 for a round with cart it is hard to beat. Excellent clubhouse with pro shop, full bar, and great staff. Driving range, 4 practice greens, and practice bunkers. Par 72 with 4 sets of tees. A little bit of everything with prairie, woods, and water. Some flat and some hills. Very scenic. Byron Forest Preserve District owns this course and puts a lot of maintenance dollars into the upkeep. Well worth the drive from Chicago area. You won't be sorry.
