Fun course. Good variety. Tough greens

This Course has gone down since it was purchased by the municipality but is in real bad shape right now, none of which is stated on their website. The price of $53 for 18 with a cart for a non resident leads you to believe the course is in good shape. The website nor the people on the phone say anything about a course under heavy repair. What you should know is that there are large unplayable areas through out the course. They are replacing traps with grassed area but more than few were not marked as an unplayable hazard which if you hit into one you would find out. Tee boxes have hand written signs stating the fact that fairways are being re-seeded but nothing to say about the large open patches of dirt or mud where grass should be. When I booked our tee time I asked the girl if there was any leagues or outing going on so as to get out before them and was told that they were later in the day, We got an 8:15 time only to get there and find out we had an outing in front of us and a league right behind us. Signs stated cart path only but none of these outing people seemed to care as I watched from a fairway to see someone on the next hole park their cart on the green, the lack of rangers was evident. If you remember how nice this course was then either wait until repairs are finished or don't go back and ruin your good memories.
